This episode is a new exploratory composition titled
“And I wondered…” .
It continues my investigations of immaterial time sculpture through the hand-building of sonic apertures and trajectories pieced together from meticulous manipulations of recordings of analogue sound I capture from everyday experiences and activities including walking, drawing, sonifying objects, accidental encounters and intentional field recording.
The piece is a slow meander, a trackless wandering across non-existent territories and amongst dimensionless towers and tunnels of inference, suggestion, confounding affect.
There is no pocket map or explanatory text to guide you – you’re essentially on your own with this artwork, this temporary theatre of strange sonic presentations.
